I’ve previously described experiences while employed by the Corps of Commissionairs in Canada. While under security contract as by-law enforcement officers to White Rock, B.C/ the RCMP called upon us to deal with a very loud ferocious sounding barking dog in an unoccupied residence they had determined was a ‘grow opp’ house. They felt it was our by-law duty to cope with it before they attempted to, say, breach the basement door!
So with some tripadation and our snare we stood by while they did in fact force the door open.
Indeed there was a very sizeable German Shepard dog awaiting us, however remarkably it very calmly came out with wagging tail! An anti-climax to be sure! As is true of many sadly neglected pets, especially dogs, this animal was only too happy to greet all of us! In fact I believe his loud threatening-sounding barking was a mere ‘get me out-a here’ plea!
end of story.
