Is it possible for our puny human brain to actually be in touch with the Creator of all things? Arguably its a question philosophers and thoughtful people have struggled with since the beginning of written history.
For instance speaking of human history, year after year archeological discoveries confirm entire ancient civilizations now being uncovered in South America were ‘primarily’ based on worship of an all powerful god in one form or another.
In truth its simply no exaggeration to say there is an innate desire in all humanity to communicate with a supreme Creator! And with limited knowledge, many societies have conferred this desire on objects of wood or stone, in the vain hope they would be heard and benefit therefrom. Is so-called ‘modern man’ really so different? Or is technology filling that very same role today? Its a fair question considering how much focus of attention is given to it in all its material forms, from smart phones to orbiting satellites.
Of course it is obvious to thinking people a far, far, superior entity exits some refer to as the ‘first cause’ of all life on earth. Ever more true science clearly points to a Creator of life on earth in all its genetic forms. Generations of observant mankind see abundant visible evidence of this.* However this is also backed up by inspired prophetic scriptures with positive reinforcement of that evidence, in spades!
Can it truly be said there is solid evidence to base hope and belief on other than lifeless wood or stone, effigies, technology and icon’s, or even paintings, etc, but rather on an invisible all-wise and loving spiritual God?
Albert Einstein epithet; “Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.” [Science, Philosophy and Religion]
In fact scientific confirmation is being added every day, consider this….and keep in mind this was written thousands of years before DNA confirmed this… “Your eyes even saw me as an embryo; All its parts were written in your book Regarding the days when they were formed, Before any of them existed.” (Psalm 139:16 NWT Bible) Hebrew scripture written by King David;
Another example; “He (God) stretches out the northern sky over empty space, Suspending the earth upon nothing” (Job26:7 NWT Bible) Again, recorded scripture written thousands of years before space travel confirmed this fact, during a time when most of mankind believed the earth stood on on the back of a turtle or an elephant or had some other ignorant idea!
These are just a couple of examples of the accuracy and authenticity of inspired scriptures, i.e. Holy Scripture. As if simple observation of all life and beginning to be understood ecological systems on planet earth were not enough in and of themselves!
What is more, he has promised to restore this sadly damaged planet to its optimal condition, including all mankind….
“….he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” And the One seated on the throne said: “Look! I am making all things new.” Also he says: “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” (Revelation21:3-5)
“He is the Maker of the earth by his power, The One who established the productive land by his wisdom And who stretched out the heavens by his understanding.” (Jeremiah51:15)

Recent airplane ownership of a Piper tri-pacer afforded me the opportunity to invite some local neighbors along with family to explore one of our BC coastal gems.
With picnic lunches and eager families we took off and landed in less than 30 minutes on one of the small pristine Gulf Islands * just South of Nanaimo.
It was uninhabited in those days, the 70’s, with a cleared grass center right down the middle about 2500′ from shoreline to shoreline, a little rough but perfectly ok for my venerable ‘milking stool’ Piper, so nick-named due to its high landing gear.
It took a couple of flights to transport all of us from my Butler-Howroyd home airfield in North Saanich, but worth it. Kids fished off rocks at the Southern end, and we all enjoyed the brief outing away from city life.
When time came for a return flight, I found the battery weak on my yellow bird. Spinning the prop by hand to start the engine now became necessary. With throttle and brake set, I cranked until nearly exhausted without result! Likely a flooded fuel issue. Spinning the prop in reverse finally cleared it, and thankfully the faithful Lycoming engine roared to life. I’m not sure what we could have done if it hadn’t started!
Two round trips and a day on a tiny gulf island. It was a memorable experience for us all.
* Hudson Island, named after the Hudson’s Bay Company, (31 Acre Island) next to much larger Thetis Island.

Of all the jobs, and there were many, I’ve had over the decades, perhaps the most interesting was as a Commissionaire. For those under the age of 60 in particular, the Royal Canadian Corp of Commissionaires is an association of mostly former armed forces service personnel, hired to perform contracted security work across Canada.As a new member, after being the only person to ever ‘ace’ the obligatory government Security course, my first assignment was as a White Rock by-law Enforcement Officer.
Although as mentioned it was a contract job, we felt like we were part of the White Rock city team, in full cooperation with the local RCMP detachment (sorry about all those parking tickets I wrote :-).
I was also assigned as a gate keeper at a large brewery; and at a CNR container shipping yard; mail sorter and deliverer in the mail room of a high rise office tower in downtown Vancouver, and so on.
Indeed the sites were many and varied.But the most interesting job site assignment for me was at the OCA (Organized Crime Agency). I can discuss this because their name has been changed (but not their purpose) and they are now located in a new multi-million dollar Surrey RCMP headquarters building.
But at the time I was assigned, it was located in an unmarked converted industrial building on Annacis Island. Commissionaires like me controlled all entree and exits by remote control. We also monitored multi external cameras, even passing traffic was recorded. Of course all personnel had to use magnetic access cards.
Night shifts could be rather eerie, literally a hundred or more humming computers on several floors with few personnel were our primary companions. (Speaking of that, (ahem), I received a commendation from the Commandant for suggesting computers could be safely shutdown each night to save electricity.)
At one time a particular disturbing responsibility was when Robert Picton mass murder evidence was kept in a locked trailer on the property. We had to regularly check on it, preserved for subsequent court actions during the night shifts.
I also had some separate employment with the OCA apart from Commissionaires, but its probably not appropriate to publish details about that, even though its just tech history now. Suffice to say it was a one of a kind unique experience to be associated with major organized crime-fighters.
Not to mislead anyone, this is not a rant against other religions, and certainly not a call to arms of any sort! In fact it is primarily a wake up call for those who call themselves ‘Christian’!
No matter what you may have been taught, there is an unseen warfare going on that many who regard themselves as ‘Christians’ have no clear understanding of! A war that encompasses all hateful human conflicts, prejudices, environmental disasters, and the list goes on! That unseen spirit is in fact ‘..the god of this system of things who has blinded the minds of unbelievers..’ as stated at 2Corithians 4:4.
True, that scripture references ‘unbelievers’ , but besides others, how many so-called Christians are included in that description!? Ask yourself; “Am I well informed and aware of this false ‘god’ and the ongoing war he is waging against all mankind, as very well described in the bible?” (see Revelation chapter 17) Most ‘christians’ are not even regular readers of the holy Bible, the very basis of their religion!
Conditions that exist on planet earth today are unmistakable evidence of this war! True, a spiritual point of view ‘is’ required to grasp this threat, but a reality check of our rapidly declining world and human conditions cannot be denied!
The unseen god of this system influences worldwide politics, economies, and religion! Indeed he has succeeded in ‘blinding’ most of mankind as to his hateful efforts! In fact he is waging war with ‘all’ humankind, but hold on, the good news is that we have an ally that will overpower and remove that evil one in the very near future!
Indeed the Creator of all things has appointed and empowered his faithful son to bring an end to that destructive hater of humanity. His name is Christ Jesus, and he will not fail to release the earth from the grip of that unseen false ‘god’!

The claim by those involved in preventing sea turtle extinction is that they have ‘helped’ them. While this may partly seem like a matter of symantecs, the truth is that only human ‘non-intervention’ could rightly be called ‘help’, be it for sea turtles or the hundreds if not thousands of other forms of life on planet earth.
When will it be acknowledged that, in fact, it is human interference and ignorance that is the fundamental reason why all life on earth is threatened! This is not just a matter of symantecs, but a basic reality that needs to be very humbly admitted. Only then will it be possible for us to accept our supreme Creator as the guide to full and complete restoration of planet earth as it was in the very beginning.
That restoration is coming, in spite of human opposition and arrogance, very soon. So we can either submit to the Creator’s purpose, or continue to ignore it, that is the choice he has given us. For more info please visit JW.org
